Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and my humans tell me it’s a day to meow what I’m thankful for.
I’m thankful for squirrels.
I’m thankful for snow. It’s fun to play in.
I’m thankful for blankets. They are cozy.
I’m thankful for birds. They visit me every day.
Mostly I’m thankful for my humans. Especially my mommy. She gives me lots of love and treats.
It’s early. All of my humans are sleeping. It’s the perfect time to wake everyone!
I will begin by jumping up on the bed and staring at them. Then I will meow loudly and consistently. Next, I will begin to run all over the house making sure to jump up on everything and knock as many things over as possible with my tail!! This is so much fun!
Since that didn't work, I will now sit and cry and whine nonstop until my humans awake! I will dance around my food dish and push it around the floor with my nose. I will be relentless in my quest to wake them.
I will win this battle. I always do.

Now that everyone is up, I will groom myself and take a nap.
Too easy.
Today I woke my humans with much crying and whining. I want the door open, yet they refuse. They say I’m an addict to the door, and perhaps need rehab. Rehab seems to be a common word around here lately.
Although, I think my humans are the ones that need rehab because they caved and gave into me! I finally got them to open the door with a little peer pressure and whining!
Now, if I could just get that squirrel!
